Mosaic Theater is dedicated to providing a platform for emerging and established playwrights to develop new work in a supportive and artistically rigorous environment. Through our incubator program, the Catalyst Series, we welcome the public into the room to experience new works as they’re being refined and created.

REFLECTIONS ON HOME

June 2024

Mosaic expands its legacy of providing a platform for international voices with the 2023-2024 Catalyst New Play Festival—Refl ections on Home: A Celebration of Immigrant Voices. In partnership with Restless Books Immigrant Writing Lab and the DC Public Library, Mosaic will convene a diverse group of writers to refl ect on what home means to immigrant communities. Refl ections on Home will feature public workshops with professional playwrights as they refi ne works-in-process, as well as a series of panels and playwriting workshops at local library branches for community members of all experience levels. The festival offers audiences global perspectives on what it means to be an American today and deepens Mosaic’s commitment to building cross-cultural connection through theater.

Reflections on Home is sponsored by The National Endowment for the Arts and Mosaic Partners Circle Activists Ed Grossman & Rochelle Stanfield and Advocates Elaine Reuben/ Timbrel Fund and Julie & David Zalkind.
