PATRON SERVICES ASSOCIATE

The Patron Services Associate is a pivotal member of the Mosaic team. The incumbent will be the friendly face of Mosaic patron services, and learn the daily operations of ticket sales and box office.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $16.00/hour

 

Daily tasks include, but are not limited to:​

  • Establish and Oversee Group Sales relationships

  • Process Ticket and Subscription Orders

  • Assist with Ticket and Subscription Exchange and Redemption

  • Assist with Patron Communications via phone, and email

  • Outbound calling for subscription renewals​

  • Assist during opening night, weekday matinees, and other special events

  • Staff the subscriptions table during performances

  • Compile Season “cheat sheets”

  • De-duplicate the CMS database

  • Qualify Orders

  • Process 3rd party tickets

  • Give the Curtain Speech as needed

  • Proof website for errors/ omissions

  • Usher During Performances as needed

Must be friendly and flexible with a sense of humor. At least one year customer service experience required. Box Office/Ticketing and group sale experience a plus.

AIR PROGRAM

 

The Mosaic Theater Company of DC AIR Program offers professional development opportunities to emerging theater professionals by providing Apprenticeships, Internships, and Resident Fellowships 
 

Grounded in the principles of I.D.E.A (inclusion, diversity, equity, and access), Mosaic Theater Company of DC is pleased to launch an exciting new opportunity for burgeoning theatre artists and arts administrators who are in college, graduate school, or are recent graduates. Apprenticeships with Mosaic provide on-the- job training for early-career theatre artists and arts administrators at DC’s hottest new theater, named by the Washington Post as a “Best of 2017” pick.

Participants will have the chance to learn best practices within the field by working alongside highly skilled artists, administrators, and designers at a Helen Hayes Award-winning theater. All Apprenticeships, Internships, and Resident Fellowships are offered on a competitive basis. Applications for the AIR program are considered on a rolling basis, but for best consideration please submit applications for the Fall term in March, the Spring term in September, and the Summer term in April.

Box office does NOT take calls two hours prior to a show's curtain, but will return all voice messages left during that time.

Will Call opens one hour prior to curtain.

Patrons who arrive late will be seated at the discretion of management.
