SAT. FEB 11, at 8PM | Jonathan Lykes, Artist, Activist and Policy Analyst at the Center for the Stud

Jonathan Lykes is a Black queer artist, activist and policy analyst at the Center for the Study of Social Policy (CSSP), who is passionate about addressing disproportionality and disparities that effect LGBTQ and gender non-conforming youth. Jonathan speaks on the importance of visibilizing the stories of young LGBTQ youth of color, especially girls of color, due to the high percentage of LGBT youth in juvenile detention center. Jonathan has been a community organizer in Mumbai, India, Cape Town, South Africa and now works in D.C. as BYP100 Chapter Co-chair.
