Miranda is a director currently based in Washington, DC, serving as the Allen Lee Hughes Directing Fellow at Arena Stage. She is a recent graduate of Wesleyan University with a double major in German Studies and Theater where she was awarded the Rachel Henderson Theater Prize in Directing. Miranda is interested in new work that deals with the political and social climate of today, contemporary approaches to classical plays as well as the intersection between different forms of art. She directs exciting stage adaptations of literature that incorporate original music, dance and projections into the performance. www.mirandahaymon.com
