A Healing Community Conversation about the Relationship between Blacks and Jews.

As part of Mosaic Theater Company’s commitment to supporting transformational, socially-relevant art, this gathering will explore ways in which mischaracterizations and stereotypes have affected relationships between Blacks and Jews, and name our vision for healing our wounds and building a beloved community together.

Facilitators: Richael Faithful and Shari Motro

Richael Faithful is a folk healer from the indigenous Black American tradition. She serves as Shaman-in-Residence at Freed Bodyworks in Capitol Hill DC and is founder of Liberatory Healing, a healing circle series dedicated to racial justice transformation.

Shari Motro is a law professor at the University of Richmond. She teaches, writes, and leads workshops in creative writing, mindful lawyering, professional communication, Jewish Renewal, the legal regulation of intimate relationships, and tax law.
