Please join us following the 8 pm performance for a post-show discussion with Oliva Hunt (Whitman Walker) and Lauren Katz (Mosaic Theater Company of DC). The discussion will be moderated by Bob Schlehuber. The discussion will focus on the individual process of gender reassignment and the community process of accepting diversity and being inclusive to all peoples.

OLIVIA HUNT

Olivia Hunt is an Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps Legal Fellow, and oversees the Name and Gender Change Clinic at Whitman-Walker. Her work is focused on removing barriers to employment for transgender clients throughout the DC metropolitan area by assisting them to legally change their names and update their identity documents. Prior to beginning her fellowship, she worked in the biotechnology industry and as a municipal attorney. Hunt received her undergraduate degrees from Michigan State University, and her law degree from the College of William & Mary, where she served as an editor on the Law Review. She is a member of the Virginia and Illinois Bars.”
