Following the 4:00PM performance, join us for a post-show discussion featuring Virginia Spatz and Kymone Freeman.


Virginia Avniel Spatz, originally from Chicago, is a writer, education advocate, and community activist in Washington, DC. She is feature reporter for Education Town Hall on We Act Radio. The show, broadcasting from Historic Anacostia, focuses on local and national education equity stories. She is also a long-time contributor to East of the River and Hill Rag community Newspapers. She blogs on Jewish and interfaith topics at A Song Every Day.


Kymone Freeman is a Poet, Activist, award winning Playwright and the Co-Founder of DC's only independent radio station, We Act Radio a subsidiary of the Newton Media Group which is a full service media production company. He is a regular guest on RT's The Big Picture w/ Thom Hartman, Roland Martin's News One on TV One and a contributing writer to Popular Resistance an online news resource and the iconic Ebony Magazine's printed publications
