From the creator, Chris Banks:

As we face a nation divided by racial strife, economic collapse, a global pandemic, and the outright disdain of social norms, and in an environment where we as artists have been banished from our places of creativity, I felt compelled to find a way to encourage "us" that participation still matters.

The Preamble of the US Constitution has stood as the gold standard for an aspirational statement that speaks to common values, justice, equality...the innate goodness in us all. It offers a path towards governing founded in a belief that we each deserve to live our lives in a way that affirms and nurtures the rights of the whole of society. Words on a page, even as powerful as these are, don't have the means to self-actualize. We must speak through our vote. We must dedicate ourselves to the ideals, and allow them to be the impetus for action. We have it in our power to create the kind of society that our Constitution describes, but which remains an unrealized dream.

I hope that we have inspired you to see the WE in We the People, and to exercise your right to vote...your right to shape our future in a way that reflects the best of us.
